These mats are so much better than others that I bought. They go into the dishwasher as well and survive, and my dogs really use them intensely.
We use our Calm Mat all the time, to feed Quincy his raw, for fruit/ kefir, we pop them in the freezer for a long-lasting passive calming activity, or we mix his A-OK9 supplements in with the food and simply smear it on a Calm Mat.

My first thought was it's not big enough - I like to wrap my dog's in a towel after a bath. HOWEVER, it was so absorbent it was better and has come in very handy generally.
