  • LAVENDER - used for centuries for its soothing qualities to reduce stress and calm anxiety. It’s thought that the aroma can increase delta waves which can create a sense of calm and help sleep.
  • VALERIAN-Valerian is a herb used for centuries to reduce anxiety and to calm. It is thought that the compound that is contained in Valerian, valerenic acid works on GABA receptors to reduce anxiolytic effects. In addition, valepotriates that give valerian its distinctive smell seem to have a similar effect of reducing anxiety.

Low levels of GABA accompany anxiety disorders and it is thought that chamomile may have a positive effect on GABA metabolism hence providing an anxiolytic effect.
  • SKULLCAP EXTRACT - Skullcap is a herb that has been used in traditional herbal medicine for its potential calming and anxiolytic effects.
