Plaque-K9 contains several powerful ingredients to support your dog’s dental health:

Fennel

Fennel helps neutralize acid in the mouth, which can prevent acid erosion, enamel loss, tooth decay, and cavities. By making saliva more alkaline, Fennel improves overall dental health. Additionally, it inhibits the growth of bacteria responsible for plaque and cavities [1, 2, 3, 4].

Dill

Dill contains flavonoids, powerful antioxidants that protect cells from damage. It also offers anti-inflammatory, antifungal, and antimicrobial properties, providing protection against microbial infections. Furthermore, Dill is rich in calcium and phosphorus, which strengthen tooth enamel [5, 6].

Kelp

Kelp contains the beneficial bacterium Bacillus lichenformis, which releases enzymes that break down bacterial biofilm, helping to reduce plaque and tartar [6, 7].

When Plaque-K9 is added to food, the product comes into contact with teeth and saliva, which helps the ingredients to work.

We recommend offering a long-lasting chew during or shortly after the meal containing Plaque-K9. This helps remove plaque from your dog's teeth once the ingredients, like Fragaria and Kelp, have begun to soften it.

Yes, all of our supplements have been tested for Microbiology, PAH, Pesticides and Heavy Metals to ensure they are within permissible limits.

The iodine level in Plaque-K9 is low and (dependent on batch) is between 0.275mg per g - 0.66mg per g.

Because the ingredients in our supplements are all-natural and have been formulated by vets and nutritionists, they can usually be used in conjunction with prescription medication. We would always recommend that you consult with your vet before changing your dog’s diet if your dog is on prescription medication.
